114year old Goyard trunk
An Antique large Hat Trunk by E.Goyard
A beautiful antique trunk in excellent condition.
The original bright Goyardine painted canvas with the secret signature , shows a few grazes and bubbles to the front consistent with its age.
The original lining is reasonably clean with marks commensurate with age.
The original label shows the serial numberā¦ā¦
and the date 26th May 1910, making this trunk 114 years old.
The leather angled edges have a rich patina and the majority of the high quality brass work is bright
The crisp bright brass handles are tightly sprung and of exceptional quality
The left Ā hasp has a small part to the upper missing which does not detract from the overall quality and appearance
Increasingly antique trunks have become very sought after as pieces for interior decoration and coffee tables
